Bidets are Greener than Toilet Paper

An easy, happy choice for you and the environment is, get a bidet. Yes, that’s right a Bidet is something you can do for yourself and you can do for our earth. It’s been a rough year for most and we are all trying to take things one step at a time and do a little better. Be a little kinder to our neighbors. Make little choices that are a big improvement for the environment. Just do the right thing, as best we can, you know.

A bidet does clean you with water instead of having to wipe with toilet paper but it doesn’t use over one million tons annually! Yes, that’s right, it takes over one million tons of water to make our annual usage of toilet paper. That works out to 37 gallons of water for just one little roll, and we all know how fast one roll goes.

Even though saving trees might be what we think of first when we think of cutting down on our toilet paper use there is more. We are doing more for the earth than the huge water savings we already covered. We cut down on energy and chemicals for production. Then the energy savings comes around again when we realize we are requiring the water treatment plants to work that much less.

The world over, bidets are used to keep people clean and take the burden off of local resources. I told you it was easy. One simple change does so much good. The bidet is better!
